The following is provided as a courtesy to out-of-town teams. Please note that many area universities such as Harvard, Boston University, and MIT will be holding graduation ceremonies around this date and room availability may be scarce so please book early.

40Berkeley offers the privacy and security of private rooms (like a hotel), but the affordability, culture, and social atmosphere of a hostel. While all rooms are private, they are still fashioned after basic hostel rooms, and most amenities (including bathrooms) are shared.  All guests are treated to a full, hot American breakfast daily, and also have the opportunity to purchase museum and other attraction passes at discounted rates.

Contact Laura Paquette (see below for contact information).  $39.99 per person per night for dorms; $109.99 per night for private rooms with breakfast included. All of the dorms have no more than 6 people and they can make the rooms exclusive use for the teams. There are no taxes or any additional fees. Once the teams get in touch they will put together a contract; 50% deposit to hold the rooms two weeks after the contract is sent out. The final payment is due one month prior to arrival.

Wheelock College is pleased to offer an alternative housing option for Dragon Boat attendees.

Our non-air-conditioned residence rooms are a mix of singles, doubles, and triples. There are some mini-suites (two double rooms with a shared bathroom en suite) and some traditional rooms that share semi-private bathrooms located adjacent to the rooms. We also have traditional-style singles, doubles, and triples with bathrooms down the hall.

Massachusetts College of Art and Design - Fenway neighborhood

Located on Huntington Ave in Boston, the Artists' Residence is a 9-story residence hall with apartment style units a short walking distance to the Longwood and Museum of Fine Arts MBTA stop on the E branch of the Green line. Our apartments house between 2 and 5 people with a limited number of single occupancy studio apartments, in a variety of floor plans.  Each of the fully furnished apartments has a fully applianced kitchen (no microwaves), and private bathroom with some of the higher occupancy apartments also containing a small living room area. 

Provided amenities include: full air conditioning, 24-hour courtesy desk and secured access, high-speed internet service (wireless as well as Ethernet ports in the rooms), cable television access, and voicemail access. Telephones are not provided, however guests are welcome to bring one if they wish. Additional amenities offered for a nominal fee are television rental and linen rental (bedding and towels).
