The Cambridge Arts Council is the official arts agency for the City of
Cambridge, MA. Established in 1974, CAC's mission is to ensure that the
arts remain vital for people living, working and visiting Cambridge. CAC
accomplishes this mission by stimulating public awareness of and support
for the arts, preserving and celebrating the City's diverse cultural
heritage and commissioning art in public places. Join CAC throughout the
summer months at concerts in parks throughout cambridge. Visit CAC's

tour of over 10 works of public art and information on gallery exhibits.

Boston China Summer

Boston China Summer is a collaboration of civic, cultural, and educational
organizations working together to highlight Chinese and Chinese American art
and culture throughout the Greater Boston area. As the world looks toward the
Beijing Olympics, we hope that you will join in our celebration of Chinese
culture.
Boston China Summer 2008 activities are held from mid-May through October.

Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR)

The Department of Conservation and Recreation was created by the State
Legislature in July 2003 through merging the functions of the former
Metropolitan District Commission and the former Department of Environmental
Management. The DCR is an environmental agency committed to conserving and
protecting the natural, cultural and recreational resources for all
citizens of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. DCR has broad management
responsibilities for the preservation, maintenance and enhancement of the
natural, scenic, historic and aesthetic qualities of the environment within
the greater metropolitan Boston area.
